Specialising in maternity, newborn, baby and family photography, I’m here to capture your family’s journey from bump, baby and beyond.
Hi I’m Emily, a family photographer based in Tynemouth, North Tyneside. Portrait photography has always been the most inspiring and joyful art of photography to me. I love the creativity of taking photos, capturing peoples personalities, joy, excitement and love. Little ones grow and change so fast so being able to help you treasure the details, capture the smiles and freeze special moments in time forever is such a privilege to me.

Fast forward several years and now with two children of my own, in 2021 I turned my long time passion into a business to share my love for capturing special moments with others and made it my full time job in 2022.
From North Tyneside, to South Tyneside, Newcastle to Northumberland, I work throughout many areas of the North East to help you tell your families story.
Working in your home or outdoors I love to shoot with natural light where possible (the North East weather doesn’t always make this easy!) to create beautiful, natural, timeless photos.
Living in the North East means we have many beautiful North Tyneside beaches, the Northumberland coast and countryside and Newcastle city centre all close by making the choices for an outdoor family photoshoot endless, with a perfect photoshoot location for everyone.
With Longsands beach and Northumberland park on my doorstep, I’m spoilt to be able to use them both for family photoshoots or family time of my own.
Me and my family love nothing more than a walk down Tynemouth Front Street, stopping for a hot drink and cake of course before heading to Longsand’s beach no matter the season. I actually think winter is my favourite season for visiting the beach with the crisp air, low winter sun and fewer people.
My aim with any photoshoot whether it be an in home newborn photoshoot, 1st birthday photoshoot, cake smash or family portraits is to capture natural, in the moment photos of you and your family on your journey together. I like to keep things relaxed and fun and make sure every photoshoot is personal to you to deliver your families story in your photo gallery.
It’s all about capturing those connections and love between parent and child which I hope you see reflected in my work.
