1st Birthday Photoshoots
It’s time to celebrate!
It’s been one whole year since your little one arrived in the world and the saying the days sometimes feel slow but the weeks go by fast is probably starting to feel very true. Their 1st birthday is a time to celebrate you all.
As a North Tyneside based family photographer I love doing cake smash photoshoots and 1st birthday photoshoots as little ones at this age are full of fun and personality, are inquisitive and will just be unapologetically them making for the perfect 1st birthday memory to share with family.
A cake smash photoshoot or a 1st birthday portrait photoshoot, what do you think would best capture your little one on their first birthday?
Cake Smash Photoshoot
Cake, cuteness, character and sometimes chaos. They are only 1 once so lets have some fun, make some special birthday memories, capture them forever and share with loved ones to mark this milestone birthday. Including time for some 1st birthday portrait photos first (whilst they are clean) let’s see what they do when given a whole cake.
We’ll keep it simple with your little one as the main focus but we can add personal touches too if you wish which we will discuss prior to your cake smash photoshoot. I will always include a little time for some family photos or siblings shots too during your cake smash photoshoot if you’d like too.
Portrait Photoshoot
Perhaps you’d like to mark their first birthday with some beautiful portrait photos to remember them at this amazing milestone age why not go for an at home 1st birthday photoshoot to capture their flourishing little personality in a relaxed and fun environment they know. With a simple set up, a choice of chairs (little ones always love the chairs) and a few personal, 1st birthday touches you’ll received a beautiful gallery of photos of your little one at this very special time.
Group Cake Smash Photoshoot
If you and your friends have littles one turning one at a similar time why not consider a group cake smash photoshoot to celebrate and mark their special birthdays together. Exactly the same as a normal cake smash photoshoot with time for birthday portraits first before bringing out the cake, just with friends. More fun, more cake and more mess!
A family photoshoot is a lovely alternative as a way to capture your family as a whole one year into this amazing journey. With so many amazing locations across the North East, the beautiful beach of North Tyneside and Northumberland, the city scape of Newcastle or the many parks and open spaces the choices are endless.
